The Season, a Vigilance Films production has sign with Arsenal Pictures. Arsenal with represent all foreign territories for the film.... "Arsenal Pictures is an international distribution, production and financing company founded by Yarek Danielak. The two and a half year old company has rapidly grown after striking an alliance with seasoned producer Arnold Rifkin (Live Free or Die Hard). As part of a multi-picture deal, Arsenal premiered the backwoods thriller Timber Falls at Cannes in 2007. This was followed by Night Train, starring Danny Glover, Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn, at the American Film Market where Arsenal also began to show Rifkin's next major title Stag Night. "




The Season has just been selected to screen at the 2009 Swansea International Film Festival in Swansea, UK! The festival is between May 30th and June 6th and screenings will occur at the prestigious Dylan Thomas Centre.

With all the trails and tribulations of trying to make an independent feature film, Vigilance Films begins production on a Documentary: Surviving:The Season, to chronicle all their efforts.



Pre Production has finished and The Season is set to begin shooting principle photography starting August 1 on location in Eastern Iowa.



Vigilance Films signs Douglas Tait to play 'Simon' in The Season. Mr. Tait, a working stuntman and actor, got his break playing “Jason” in the ending scenes of Freddy Vs. Jason. Since then, he has worked a lot behind prosthetic fx makeup and creature suits.



Vigilance Films signs Pedja Radenkovic to shoot its upcoming feature film, The Season. With Mr. Radenkovic's Eastern European visual sensibilities and Writer/Director Adam Edward Brooks' strong visual background, The Season is sure to have a great look and feel.
