Congratulations. Your film, The Season, won an Award of
Merit in the feature film category. Job well done! The results have
been posted on the Accolade
website

The Season, a Vigilance Films production has sign
with Arsenal Pictures. Arsenal with represent all foreign territories
for the film.... "Arsenal Pictures is an international distribution,
production and financing company founded by Yarek Danielak. The two
and a half year old company has rapidly grown after striking an
alliance with seasoned producer Arnold Rifkin (Live Free or Die Hard).
As part of a multi-picture deal, Arsenal premiered the backwoods
thriller Timber Falls at Cannes in 2007. This was followed by Night
Train, starring Danny Glover, Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn, at the
American Film Market where Arsenal also began to show Rifkin's next
major title Stag Night. "


The
Season has just been selected to screen at the 2009 Swansea
International Film Festival in Swansea, UK! The festival is between
May 30th and June 6th and screenings will occur at the prestigious
Dylan Thomas Centre.

Vigilance Films' production: The Season has signed
with Circus Road Films. Circus Road will act as the Producer's Rep for
the film.... "Circus Road negotiates and secures North American
distribution and international sales deals for independent films and
television programming, guiding filmmakers and producers with
festival, marketing and sales strategies. Circus Road attends all
major film and television festivals and markets, including the
Sundance Film Festival, the Slamdance Film Festival, the SXSW Film
Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, the Cannes International Film
Festival, the CineVegas Film Festival, the Toronto International Film
Festival, the European Film Market (The Berlinale), the American Film
Market, MIP-TV, MIPCOM, Banff and NATPE."...


The Season has won another award! The 2009 Park City Film Music
Festival awarded it the "Audience Choice Gold Medal for Excellence"

Vigilance Films is represented at Screamfest! Pedja
Radenkovic, Douglas Tait and Adam Edward Brooks on the red carpet in
Hollywood at the 2008 ScreamFest opening ceremony in from of Grauman's
Chinese Theater.


The Season has just been selected to compete in the
2006 Park City Film Music Festival which takes place in Park City,
Utah during the Sundance and Slamdance film festivals.

Join us for our LA Premiere of The Season at the 2008
Screamfest, screening at the historic Grauman's Chinese Theater in
Hollywood.

Due to the 'Premiere' requirements of the ScreamFest Festival,
Vigilance Films has regrettably decided to pull its entry into the
2008 Shiekfest Film Festival as well as the 2008 Cinema City
International Film Festival for which The Season was to compete as an
official selection.

selection at the 2008 ShriekFest Film Festival in Hollywood
California.


The Season has been selected to compete in the 2008
Cinema City International Film Festival. The screenings will take
place at the AMC within the Universal City Walk.


The Season has won another award! The 2008 Indie Gathering
International Film Festival chose The Season as the 2nd Place Winner
in the Horror Genre.


The Season has just been chosen as an official
selection at the 2008 Dark Carnival Film Festival in Indianapolis,
Indiana. The screenings will take place at the (Haunted) old Indian
Theater. The Season has been Nominated for Best
Feature Film, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Special FX.


The Season has just been chosen as an official
selection at the 2008 Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville,
Kentucky.


The Season will be making its festival debut at the 2008 Indie
Gathering International Film Festival in Westlake Ohio.

Adam Edward Brooks, Adam Meirick, and Tonya Wade of
Vigilance Films, delivers a check to Mary Grace, the director of the
Aplington-Parkersburg Fine Arts Department. The Season's World
Premiere was a sold out success, raising nearly $5000.

Vigilance Films presents the world premiere of The
Season. This is a charity event to help raise money for the
Aplington-Parkersburg Fine Arts Department after the
recent tornado.

Post Production is finally done on The Season. Now the festival run
begins...

Filming continues on the Documentary, covering all the
festivals, etc...

Vigilance Films has optioned a yet to be published
Novel about the infamous Jack the Ripper. Adam Edward Brooks is slated
to adapt the original manuscript from the author, Quentin Pittman,
Esq.

Principle Photography has wrapped on The Season! Now the Post
Production begins.

With all the trails and tribulations of trying to make
an independent feature film, Vigilance Films begins production on a
Documentary: Surviving:The Season, to chronicle all their efforts.

Pre Production has finished and The Season is set to begin shooting
principle photography starting August 1 on location in Eastern Iowa.

Vigilance Films signs Douglas Tait to play 'Simon' in The Season. Mr.
Tait, a working stuntman and actor, got his break playing “Jason” in
the ending scenes of Freddy Vs. Jason. Since then, he has worked a lot
behind prosthetic fx makeup and creature suits.

Vigilance Films signs Pedja Radenkovic to shoot its upcoming feature
film, The Season. With Mr. Radenkovic's Eastern European visual
sensibilities and Writer/Director Adam Edward Brooks' strong visual
background, The Season is sure to have a great look and feel.

Vigilance Films acquires and puts into development: The Season, a 70's
Style horror feature set on an Amish farm in rural Iowa.
